Developed and owned by a group of insightful community citizens dedicated to improving affordable housing options for senior and disabled adults, The Aspens opened in 1996 and is among the first rural, non-profit, assisted living communities of its kind. With its active board of directors composed of long standing members of the local community as well as management by CCL, the Aspens continues to provide essential housing and services to Harney County.
The Aspens offers individualized personal care plans including management of chronic care needs and memory support services for frail elderly or adults with disabilities. Additionally, respite and hospice care options are also available.
